The original surface showed stains and discolouration. Rather than hiding these traces, they have become part of the transformation, giving the old piece a new identity through colour and surface treatment.
Warm red tones bring out the character of the oak and give the nightstand depth, warmth and personality. The drawer fronts are finished with copper leaf, creating a subtle play of light and adding warmth and elegance to the red surfaces.
