Swedish design in new colours
Swedish Kiss is a Swedish designer lamp that has been given a completely new story at by Laden.
The lamp’s elegant, classic proportions have been preserved, while the new colour palette gives the design a bold and contemporary expression. The slender lamp base is finished in intense glossy pink, while the broad turquoise base creates a striking contrast. A golden detail at the top brings the colours together and adds warmth and elegance.
The result is a unique table lamp that balances classic Scandinavian design with by Laden’s playful approach to colour and reuse.
A lamp with character
At 72 cm tall, Swedish Kiss is a relatively tall table lamp. This allows it to function not only as a source of light, but also as a decorative statement in the interior.
Placed on a side table, a low chest of drawers or a console table, the lamp is given space to stand out. When switched on, the warm light, golden detail and light-coloured shade create a beautiful contrast to the vibrant colours.
Like all unique furniture and interior pieces from by Laden, the lamp has been reimagined with respect for its original design. The aim is not to hide its history, but to give it the opportunity to begin a new one.
With or without a pre-owned lampshade
Swedish Kiss can be purchased without a lampshade if you already have a favourite or would like to give the lamp your own individual expression.
It is also available with the lampshade shown in the photographs. The shade is pre-owned and has been carefully selected for the lamp rather than replaced with a new one. It may therefore show minor signs of previous use – a natural part of by Laden’s approach to reuse.
For us, reuse is not only about preserving the furniture or lamp itself. It is also about using existing materials and components again when they are still beautiful and functional.
