Prices
All prices in the English webshop are stated in euros (EUR) including VAT.
Any delivery costs are stated in connection with the purchase or agreed separately with the customer where the size of the item, the destination or other circumstances require an individual delivery solution.
Payment
Payment is made using the payment methods offered in the webshop.
Payment for an order is made in accordance with the terms shown during the ordering process.
Delivery
by Laden primarily works with unique furniture and furniture art, and many of our products are available as one-of-a-kind pieces only.
The method of delivery, delivery price and expected delivery time depend, among other things, on the size of the furniture and the delivery destination. The customer will be informed of the relevant delivery terms before completing the purchase.
If a special delivery solution is required, the delivery price and expected delivery time will be agreed with the customer before the purchase is completed.
Collection from by Laden in Sønderborg is also possible by prior arrangement.
Right of withdrawal
As a private customer, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing goods from the webshop.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods.
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform by Laden clearly of your decision to withdraw from the purchase before the 14-day period expires.

You do not need to provide a reason for exercising your right of withdrawal.
You may use the standard withdrawal form at the bottom of this page, but this is not mandatory.
Simply refusing to accept or collect the goods is not sufficient.
Returns
After informing by Laden that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must return or hand over the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision to withdraw.

The customer is responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods.
Due to their size, weight or nature, many pieces of furniture sold by by Laden cannot be returned by ordinary postal services. For such goods, the customer will be informed of the direct return costs before completing the purchase. If the return costs cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, the customer will be informed of the maximum amount the return costs are expected to be.
Please contact by Laden before returning an item so that transport can be arranged safely and appropriately.
Condition of returned goods
You are only liable for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
As by Laden works with unique, restored and transformed furniture, returned goods must be packed and transported safely and appropriately.
Refunds following withdrawal
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, by Laden will refund all payments received from you, including the original delivery costs.
If you chose a delivery method that was more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by by Laden, the additional cost of the more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.
The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the date on which we receive your notification that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.
by Laden may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or until you have provided evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.
Custom-made and individually customised furniture
The general right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised, where the purchase falls within the applicable statutory exemption.
This may, for example, include furniture that has been specially made or individually transformed following a specific agreement with the customer, including choices of colours, materials, dimensions or other significant personal customisations.
If an order is excluded from the general right of withdrawal because it has been individually made or customised, the customer will be clearly informed of this in connection with the agreement.
The fact that a piece of furniture is unique, restored, used or available as a one-of-a-kind item does not in itself remove the customer’s right of withdrawal.
Legal guarantee and complaints
Goods are covered by the applicable statutory consumer rights and legal guarantee against defects.
by Laden works with original, restored and transformed furniture as well as unique pieces. The furniture may therefore show signs of age, previous use, repairs and variations resulting from craftsmanship.
Such characteristics form part of the history and character of the furniture and do not necessarily constitute a defect.
Known damage, signs of use or other relevant characteristics of the item will, as far as possible, be described in the product description and shown in the photographs.
If you wish to make a complaint regarding an item, please contact by Laden at kontakt@by-laden.com and describe the issue. You are welcome to include photographs.
Complaints procedure
If, as a consumer, you have a complaint about a product or service purchased from by Laden, please contact us first so that we can try to find a solution.
If no solution can be found, a complaint may, where the applicable conditions are met, be submitted to:
